Presentation of the center
The joint center of networks, information systems and communication and distance education was created at the university May 8, 1945 on June 6, 2007. Its main mission is the use of information technology and communication (ICT) in higher education in support of the classroom. It is organized as follows:
Classroom
Provide learners with technological tools (computers, software, Internet) to pursue training accessible via the Internet.
Videoconferencing room
• Internet reception of conferences led by external speakers (in Algeria or from abroad)
• Projection of conferences with speakers present on site who can use the PC, the Document camera, etc.
Production cell
• Content design and production by multidisciplinary teams of teachers, educators and computer engineers.
• Management of ICT-based training projects (Information and Communication Technologies)
